The main message of her video diary was how she is just ‘getting better and better’ after turning 50 in July.
And she felt it was important to celebrate her age and experience with a $53.6M-grossing, 38-date It’s My Party Tour.
‘Everybody thought that I was crazy when I wanted to go out and let everybody know that I was 50. That was just like something, “Ummm why are we highlighting this again?”’ the two-time Grammy nominee laughed in her international tour diary.
‘But for me, it was important. It was important as a woman to do that — to let people know that you don’t get to write women off at a certain point in their life. You don’t get to write people off. You’re getting better and better as you go so long as you are open to the experience of growing and evolving.

‘I am happy it’s over. It’s hard work for me,’ Lopez explained to her family.
‘I have to sleep a lot and I have to get a lot of body work done and that’s not how I want to spend my whole day. I want to be able to go out and do things and stuff, but I can’t. It’s not responsible for me.’
