People’s Champion! Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson uploaded this picture to social media on Saturday showing a family he met while filming San Andreas in Queensland

Explaining how he met the girls on a break from the set, he wrote:

‘I was chillin’ on my day off in my backyard when I heard sweet voices…”hi Mr. Rock!,”‘

‘Looked over and saw these beautiful faces looking over the fence. Walked next door and met the most wonderful little sweethearts…meetings like this are always the best part of fame.’

But the best was yet to come for the film and wrestling megastar.

‘They made me brownies,’ he wrote.

Making mates: The Hollywood megastar was Down Under for just over two months from mid-April to June

The Rock was filming San Andreas on the Gold Coast from mid-April until June, and has since jetted back to the States.

The movie, also starring Kylie Minogue, is a post-disaster thriller about the effects of an earthquake.

Before he left the country The Rock gave Sydney a brief visit to promote Hercules, which will be released around the world in late July.

The incredibly bulked up actor has also been sharing the workouts that got him in shape to play the Greek hero to hype the movie.

And San Andreas isn’t the only film he wrapped recently – upon returning to the US the former WWE Champion finished off the last scenes for Fast Seven.

In 2013 The Rock was the world’s highest grossing actor, with the flicks he starred in earning a combined $1.3billion.
