Dior has announced Paris Saint-Germain’s star striker, Kylian Mbappé, as its newest brand ambassador for men’s fashion and perfumes. The 22-year-old footballer, known for his incredible talent on the field, will now be the face of Dior Sauvage fragrance, taking over from actor Johnny Depp in this role.

Kylian Mbappé, who has Algerian roots, expressed his excitement about the collaboration on Instagram, stating that he is delighted to be officially part of Maison Dior. The Sauvage Eau de Parfum, which Mbappé will represent, is described as capturing the aura of a mysterious night.

Dior stated that they are thrilled to have Mbappé on board, as he embodies their values of exacting standards and generosity. He will now be associated with the creations of Kim Jones, the Artistic Director of Dior men’s collections, and the Sauvage perfume.

Kylian Mbappé, who led France to victory in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, has previously been seen supporting Dior while off-duty and has been gifted the first draft of Air Dior by Kim Jones. He joins the ranks of other notable figures like Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson in the Dior family, and his partnership with the luxury fashion house further strengthens the bond between football and high-end fashion.
