Cristiano Ronaldo’s son joins new club; Vincent Kompany sends message to CR7

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has left Manchester United following the termination of his dad’s contract at Old Trafford.

Most of the rumours suggest that Ronaldo will be heading to play for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. His son’s future seems to lie in the Spanish capital though.

As reported by The Sun, Edu Cornago confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo Jr’s return to the Madrid academy on Tuesday.

Cristiano Jr has returned to Real Madrid academy

Cristiano Jr is a very highly rated youth player in his own right, as he looks to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father and become a professional footballer. It is believed that he has scored more than 50 goals in 20 matches at the U-14 level.

Thus, bringing back Cristiano Jr to the club is a major boost for Los Blancos without a shadow of a doubt.

Many fans might read into this as a potential hint that Ronaldo could be set to return to Real Madrid as well. But the chances of that happening seem to be pretty slim at the moment. The Portuguese superstar’s most likely destination is Al-Nassr, where he is expected to sign a record-breaking contract.
