They are currently leading a bid to buy the sports franchise The New York Mets.
And on Wednesday, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were spotted taking a tour of the Mets’ home stadium – Citi Field in Flushing – which is located in the north-central portion of the New York City borough of Queens.
The singer, 51, and the former Yankees pro baseball player, 45, were joined by his daughter Natasha Rodriguez for their VIP visit amid their bid to become an MLB team owner.
Jennifer looked chic in a thigh-grazing dress with embroidered flowers along the torso and sleeves.
She rocked cream colored heels with a Valentino handbag, accessorizing with a variety of gold and diamond jewelry – with sunglasses and a face mask.
Alex donned cream slacks with a blue button up shirt while toting a small coffee.
His daughter Natasha, 15, was on hand as well, and made sure to take selfie with her dad and future stepmom.
BodyArmor and Vitaminwater co-founder Mike Repole, current and former NFL stars Travis Kelce, Brian Urlacher, DeMarco Murray and Joe Thomas, plus NBA stars Mason Plumlee and Bradley Beal are part of the investment group with Jennifer and Alex.
Florida Panthers owner billionaire Vincent Viola is also on their investment team, reportedly contributing $200 million to the bid, the NY Post reported.
Jennifer hails from the Bronx, Alex from Washington Heights, Mike from Middle Village and Vincent from Brooklyn.
It is interesting to note that Jennifer grew up as a lifelong NY Yankees fan and Alex played for the Mets’ rivals, the Yankees from 2004 until 2016 with a season long suspension for performance enhancing drugs from 2014-2015.
They reportedly submitted an initial bid of $1.7 billion last month to the Wilpon family, who own the team, according to the NY Post.

However, journalist Charles Gasparino tweeted that Jennifer and Alex’s reported bid is closer to the $2 billion Steve offered, and not the $1.7 billion reported by the Post, according to Nj.com.
Other bidders include the frontrunner – billionaire hedge fund manager Steve Cohen, who offered $2 billion this time, after previously offering $2.6 billion during previous negotiations in December, according to the NY Post.
The previous deal fell through in February because Steve wanted immediate control of the team but the Wilpon’s wanted to remain with the club for five more years, according to Nj.com.
NY Post sources reported that the Mets COO Jeff Wilpon prefers to sell the team to Jennifer, Alex and their investment group, if their offer is close to the best bid by the end of the auction.
The initial bid were submitted last month, as well as their disclosure of all their investors, as well as what percentage of the team each investor would own.
In May, Jennifer and Alex tried to buy the Mets with a bid at $1.5 billion but the Wilpon family wanted something closer to $2.5 billion, according to TMZ.
