A boy in Syria whose father was killed in the earthquakes that devastated Syria and Turkey on February 6 was comforted by Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The earthquakes killed more than 45,000 people in Syria and Turkey.

After an Al-Nassr game, a clip of Cristiano Ronaldo comforting a young child, aged 10, whose father had been killed in the recent earthquakes that devasted Syria and Turkey last month went viral. The disasters had struck both countries last month.

More than 45,000 individuals lost their life in the earthquakes that occurred on February 6, including Christian Atsu, a player who once played for Chelsea and Newcastle. In the aftermath of the earthquake, a large number of individuals were left without access to water, electricity, and heat. In addition, there were countless others who were hurt.

Nabil Saeed, a young man from Syria, was overheard expressing his wish to watch Ronaldo perform to a Saudi Arabian rescue team that had flown to Syria in the wake of the disaster. As a result of this, Nabil Saeed was extended an invitation to visit Saudi Arabia. The video was uploaded to social media by Turki Alalshikh, who is the Chairman of the Saudi Board of General Entertainment Authority. He is pleading for aid in locating the youngster seen in the video.

Nabil’s initial response to the question of with whom he would like to travel to Saudi Arabia was, “My father and mother,” but he later corrected himself while in the midst of an emotionally charged moment.

While attending Al-Nassr’s game versus Al-Batin at the Marsool Park Stadium with his mother over the past weekend, Nabil had the opportunity to meet his hero, who was competing in the game.

Nabil screamed, “I cannot believe I am in Saudi Arabia,” prior to the multiple-time Ballon d’Or winner approaching him. “I cannot believe I am in Saudi Arabia,” Nabil said. Nabil, overtaken with emotion, conveyed his appreciation to the former Manchester United striker before accepting an embrace and engaging in conversation. After the hug, Nabil continued their interaction. Alongside his hero, the youngster also performed an impression of Ronaldo’s well-known ‘Siu’ celebration.

Al-Nassr had an adventurous evening on the pitch, as they appeared to be on the verge of a surprising 1-0 loss to Al-Batin. However, they were ultimately victorious in the match.

After the authorities of the game decided to add a stunning 12 minutes of extra time, the league leaders of the Saudi Pro League replied by scoring three goals in the span of just 15 minutes.

In Friday’s play in the Middle East, Ronaldo was unable to score against Al-Batin, a team that came into the game having won just once all season. Fortunately for Al-Nassr, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Mohammed Al-Fatil, and Mohammed Maran were the ones to find the net and rescue his face.

In the race for the domestic championship, Al-Nassr was able to displace Al-Ittihad at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings thanks to a strong showing in the final minutes of the competition.

Since moving to the Middle East, this is only the second game in which Ronaldo has not been directly involved in scoring a goal for his team. The senior player for Al-Nassr scored three goals in the most recent match, raising his total to eight goals in just five competitive outings. His hat trick was the highlight of the contest.

After deciding not to renew his contract with Manchester United during the World Cup, Ronaldo signed a deal with Al-Nassr in November that will keep him playing for the club for the next two and a half years.
